I began my working life as a teacher where in addition to being the Head of the Biology Department, I held the position of chairman in the large Chatsworth branch of the Teacher’s Association of South Africa. Ready for a new challenge, I joined Liberty Life in 1988. It was daunting to leave the teaching profession but from the outset, I dedicated my life to my new career. Whilst in my first year, I have been one of Liberty Life’s most successful consultants, qualifying in being a member of the Chairman’s Club. In order to receive this prestigious nomination I was one of the top 25 consultants in the country. I have won numerous awards and accolades at Liberty Life, none that I sought after, but all that was awarded in my quest to serve my clientele better.
Despite the demands of my profession, I am chairman of two important bodies which serve the insurance industry. One is LUASA, the governing body which aims to control the industry and ensure the public receive fair, unbiased advise. I am also the chairman of the Million Dollar Round Table for Southern Africa.. MDRT Members are amongst the top 6% of insurance agents in the world and my membership in this organisation gives me and my fellow South African agents access to an international expertise.
I thrive on offering clients a high level of service excellence. These levels of service are achieved by a disciplined approach to work and a personal interest in each and every client. I also have the back up of an excellent team. I have two secretaries who are devoted to the service and I am and always willing to go that extra mile for my clients. My wife, Pam, is also is also an important member of the team who assists wherever possible to ensure the clients needs are met as swiftly as possible.
I am a family orientated person and enjoys spending leisure time with Pam and my two sons. Tilesh and Jitesh. I pride myself on offering advice suited to the needs of the individual and corporate organisations.
